" I Simply Love Her" Poem
She has a face that radiates through the room
She is straight and curvy and sometimes she is nerdy
She has grace, faith, and prays on hand
She is witty, unique, conservative and demands a command
She is statuesque, resilient, caretaker, driven, brainy
She takes her last and gives it first.
She stays up all night crying, trying to figure it out
She has pain over her job; she is in love with a man that does
not respect her worth
She has so much talent
She is pregnant with a heart of dreams
She is in College at 70 to obtain her degree
She has fallen on hard times and depressed
She works out for hours to look her best
She has been out on the street for days
She sometimes forgets where to begin
She is a woman of many situations of many obligations
She makes it work, she is a praying women
She is
She is “Your daughter, your sister, your cousin
your niece, you grandmother, your aunt, your stepmother,
your prayer partner
your neighbor, your coworker, your bff.
She is you, she is me.
No matter what “I Simply Love Her:”
Psalms 139:14
